The number one fist in Finnish death doom Death Valley will release their first album in eight years. Kuusumuproduced by V. Santura, who has been responsible for the production of the band ‘s previous releases. He is known for his studio work Triptykonin and Dark Fortressin guitarist.
“The recording break was unnecessarily long, but there is a rush in the dome. The album is more versatile, melodic and massive than its predecessors, not forgetting the gloom and heaviness that has become a trademark. Instead, more speed and strength has come. The old tractor got nitros. It was great to work with the old gang and pick up a couple of good friends. Responsible for the keyboard parts of the album Aleksi Munter (Swallow the Sun, Insomnium, Ghost Brigade) and naislauluista Lotta Ruutiainen (Luna Kills). The European tour of Death Valley was postponed due to the coronation situation, but the band will be seen in the spring and summer at domestic gigs, the first of which is on March 12, 2022 in Jyväskylä and at Black Threshold. There will also be confirmed gigs in Kuopio, Seinäjoki and Tampere, and additional gigs will be announced this spring.
