“III” is the third full-length album from Norwegian stoner/heavy rock band Wolfnaut. The album was released January 22nd via Fuzzpanzer, and was recorded at Audioskop Studio, Sofiemyr, Norway, from September 2020 to January 2021.
Forged in the sounds of early hard rock and metal giants like Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy and Iron Maiden, and the desert and stoner rock scene that exploded in the mid-1990s with bands like Kyuss and Sleep, Wolfnaut has since its debut in 1998 made it a quest to investigate the musical landscapes between melodic and hooky twin-guitar based songs, and sludgy and doomy stoner rock. «III» continues in the same tradition but is by all accounts the bands heaviest effort to date.
