In the late eighties there was the first incarnation of the band under the name SOULD OUT. From musicians of the bands DVA, ATOMARER ERSTSCHLAG, THE ASSASSINS there was formed a quintet that played intense and energetic live shows. In addition, side projects such as SHIT HEAP and THE RAG TATTERS were created. After the separation from the singer SOULD OUT continued for a while as a quartet and then broke up in the early nineties.
It was followed by various ways with JOHNSON NOISE on the one hand and the core of the later GRAND TUNER on the other hand, guest musician jobs and more i. a. in the CLIT COPS and finally found FiSch G.Tuner, Chrille G.Tuner, Matze G.Tuner and SeeDee G.Tuner again as GRAND TUNER.
It followed the LP / CD “SOULD OUT” on NASONI Records and an on-off relationship with singer and guitarist SeeDee G.Tuner. In this phase, GRAND TUNER played their shows as a trio. For quite some time now, they have been complete and played besides at the Fête de la Musique as the cover project JOHNNY CLASH AND THE DAMNED SEX TONES FROM MARS.
After Matze G. Tuner took a break, Chrille G. Tuner switched from drums to bass and Dami G. Tuner joined as new drummer.
