Cosmic Lightshow – Glimpse of heaven

“I used to catch a glimpse of heaven
    When you smiled at me
    Radiant and perfect and mine
For an instant, and then, you fade away again
Into the reaches of my mind.

    Desperately searching for words
    Hopeless and pleading and waiting
But there’s a hand in my mouth and there’s fire in your eyes
So I’m silent. Watching you recede.
    Watching you recede.

All that I have left of you are footprints in the sand
Oh half remembered flame behind your eye
I, like a fool, stood and watched you recede
Into the reaches of my memory

And pretty soon I’ll catch myself
    Forgetting your face
Your outline’s just a shape in the mist.
I reach out my hand, I reach out my hand,
And you dissipate, you dissipate, smoke in the wind.”

We recorded this single in a professional studio in Wiltshire over the summer holidays.

These are two of our earliest songs (Glimpse of Heaven being the second song we ever wrote together as a band)

This release was created by the four band members with the advice and assistance of Kester Sims

Jack Jazrawy-Brown – guitar and vocals
    Archie Sagers – Bass
    Joe Payne-Kumar – Piano
    Louie Poole – Drums

Mixed, Mastered and Produced by Archie Sagers
Artwork by Joe Payne-Kumar and Archie Sagers

    A huge thanks to:
    Kester Sims
And our parents for putting up with the noise
